To access our services your organisation must fill in a Registration Form.

To advertise for volunteers you must then complete a Volunteer Opportunity Form. If you offer several differing opportunities (e.g. clerical, fund-raising and befriending positions) you will need to complete a different form for each opportunity. Contact us

Why not join in our regular support meetings to discuss volunteering issues, organise joint events, take part in training. If you would like to meet other volunteer co-ordinators and volunteers from other projects contact us to be included on our database.

Information and advice
Our staff are available to answer your queries on all aspects of volunteering, good practice etc. We hold information papers on many aspects of volunteering as well as our free “Good practice.. in a nutshell Guide to Volunteer Management”. If we can’t help we’ll be able to put you in touch with someone who can.

Services we provide

The National Volunteering Database (www.do-it.org.uk). Our registration and opportunities forms are uploaded onto the database, ensuring that your organisation is promoted in cyberspace.

The Volunteers Guide is a 30 page brochure with listings, contact details and information on local volunteering opportunities. The Guide is given to each volunteer who contacts us and is given out at promotional events. Your organisation should have an entry in the guide if you wish to recruit volunteers through us.
