Part Time School Counsellor (Secondary school)

MIND in Gateshead requires a Part Time Counsellor to provide a counselling service to students aged 11-14 years, including 1:1 work and issue-based group work.

As a School Counsellor you will be required to establish good networking relationships with other professionals, prepare reports on a regular basis and keep up to date of relevant legislation.  You will need to have a recognised Counselling Diploma and experience of working with children.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in practical counselling skills and a flexible approach to respond to service demands.  

Applicants should be available for core Team time on Thursday afternoons.
