Community Accountancy Project
(CAP)
Welcome to GVOC’s Community Accountancy Project (CAP). I have been in post for almost a year now, and in that time have given accountancy support to a variety of groups across the region; 61 in total. This support has taken the following form:
- End of Year and Independent Examination
- Online filing of accounts with the Charity Commission
- Setting up and developing systems
- Computerised systems
- Legal information
- Budgeting
- Reporting (internal and external)
- VAT and some tax issues
- Company Accounts (not audit)
- Training
I have enjoyed meeting people across the region, and providing support to them enormously, and my plans for future support include:
- Up to date information on fraud and money laundering in the voluntary sector
- Full Cost Recovery training
- To continue producing the Sum Total newsletter
- Further Information and Guidance Sheets
If you have any particular requirements or ideas about what you would like to see provided please contact me.
